A parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam, in Kinyerezi Ward, Ilala District. A family of 2,486 faithful in 19 communities.

Beginnings
An outstation of the mother parish, with the faithful praying under a mango tree and in a classroom.
Becoming a Parish
Formally established as a parish and entrusted to its patron, St. Bonaventure.
A new church
The present church was built with contributions from the Small Christian Communities.
Today
19 communities, 2 outstations and digital services for all the faithful.
Our Patron
Saint Bonaventure (13th century)
A Franciscan, theologian, Minister General of the Franciscan Order, bishop and cardinal, known as the Seraphic Doctor. His writings teach us that the journey to know God is a journey of love and prayer.
We celebrate his feast every 15 July — the great solemnity of our parish.
